Taith Naws am Le Rosebush – Rosebush Sense of Place Tour

Cafwyd diwrnod gwych yr wythnos ddiwethaf, 10 Ebrill, pan aeth yr hanesydd a’r archaeolegydd Peter Claughton â grŵp o 30 o bobl ar daith o amgylch treftadaeth ddiwydiannol drawiadol ardal chwarel Rhos-y-bwlch. Roedd y tywydd yn berffaith gyda Mynyddoedd y Preseli a Llys y Frân i’w gweld yn glir. Gwnaeth y grŵp fwynhau clywed rhagor am orffennol diwydiannol y chwarel ac archwilio’r nodweddion nodedig sy’n weddill. Ar ôl hynny cafwyd paned o de neu beint yn y dafarn leol, Tafarn Sinc. Diolch i Peter Claughton ac i bawb a fynychodd. Bydd rhagor o deithiau cerdded a sgyrsiau yn cael eu cynnal dros gyfnod y prosiect. Cysylltwch â Sophie ar sophiej@planed.org.uk am ragor o wybodaeth.

A fantastic day was had last week the 10th of April, when historian and archaeologist Peter Claughton guided a group of 30 people around the fascinating industrial heritage of the Rosebush quarry area. The weather was perfect with a clear view of the surrounding Preseli range and Llys y Fran. The group enjoyed hearing more about the quarry’s industrial past and exploring the remaining notable features. A cup of tea or a pint was afterward enjoyed in the local Tafarn Sinc. A big thank you to Peter Claughton and everybody that attended. More walks and talks will follow over the duration of the project. Contact Sophie on sophiej@planed.org.uk for more information.
